LET THERE BE LIGHT
Nigeria, Africa
Let There Be Light is an ‘Edward Project Hub’ initiative that aims to empower young indigent children living in IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) sites across Nigeria by providing them with practical skills and resources centered around solar energy.
This project took place in Wassa, FCT- Abuja with a goal to equip ‘50 children in 50 homes’ with the knowledge, skills and tools to implement sustainable lighting solutions in their family camps using solar-powered flashlights and bulbs. In addition to the education of the children, the project will be providing light for 50 homes. We will be partnering with Castle of Refuge Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to those experiencing homelessness in Nigeria.
